Road Travel Discouraged Again Tonight; Patchy Ice On Roadways…9:05 p.m. #alx @wvua23

Tuscaloosa County EMA Director Rob Robertson says there’s been a number of weather related accidents since Friday.
Saturday, I-359 was shut down because it was impassable.
As of about 5 P.M., all bridges in Tuscaloosa County were back open.
I-20 is still experiencing travel issues in both directions between the 142 mile marker and I-459 in Jefferson County.
I-20 Eastbound is closed, and Westbound is moving very slow.

With a hard Freeze Warning out, any areas that were still wet at night-fall will see ice re-forming, so travel conditions tonight will once again become hazardous.
