Radar Update…Storms Continue 4:05 a.m. #alwx @WVUA23

The current time is 4 a.m. and storms are still going strong! Currently, central Alabama is now back to non-severe weather limits for now; however, that can still change this morning. We still have a large cluster of storms off to our west here in Tuscaloosa that are traversing eastward. The counties of Lamar and Marion have actually been trimmed from the current tornado watch that is in effect for most of the rest of central Alabama. We are still here in the studio keeping an eye on the weather!

It is very important to have a source such as a NOAA weather radio to wake you up if your area is issued under a tornado warning. You can then turn on the TV or pull up our coverage on your smart phone or computer. Info on that below…
Keep in mind, we go live non-stop on TV on WVUA (Channel 23 on Satellite, check your listing for WVUA/WUOA on your local cable service channel) during tornado warnings. You can go to wvua23.com, scroll to the weather tab and click on Live severe weather stream to watch from your computer or smart phone.
For more updates, go to the weather blog at wvua23.com, scroll to the weather tab and click weather blog. Updates are also on our Facebook and Twitter page. My twitter is @RichardWVUA23 and facebook is WVUA23RichardScott
