The time is currently 1:30 a.m. and all warnings across central Alabama are over for now. There are still numerous storms in northwest Alabama and just over the state line in Mississippi that could produce a tornado or severe thunderstorm warning as they progress east. We are here in studio tonight to keep everyone up to date!
It is very important to have a source such as a NOAA weather radio to wake you up if your area is issued under a tornado warning. You can then turn on the TV or pull up our coverage on your smart phone or computer. Info on that below…
Keep in mind, we go live non-stop on TV on WVUA (Channel 23 on Satellite, check your listing for WVUA/WUOA on your local cable service channel) during tornado warnings. You can go to wvua23.com, scroll to the weather tab and click on Live severe weather stream to watch from your computer or smart phone.
