Dry Days Continue…Tuesday Forecast Update – 5:25pm #alwx @wvua23

7 Day Forecast - Offset Lows - PM.png

Good Tuesday afternoon! Today has been a nice election day, with comfortable Fall weather and some occasional cloud cover. We had a few light showers over extreme west Alabama near the Mississippi boarder around sunrise, but nearly our entire coverage area of west, central and east Alabama did not get a drop of rain.

Expect mostly cloudy skies tonight, with temperatures dropping into the lower 50s overnight. A cold front will pass through the state late tonight, with a north breeze developing tomorrow morning. Expect a gradual return to sunshine after 9am Wednesday. Highs will top out in the low 70s for most areas on Thursday and for Veterans Day on Friday. Some spots north of I-20 will remain in the upper 60s for highs. Expect chilly night temperatures, with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s Thursday morning and Friday morning.

Another cold front will move through the state Friday evening, sending chilly air southward. Highs will only top out in the middle 60s over the weekend, with a potential of upper 30s area-wide Sunday morning. No rain is expected with the weekend cold front.
