Few Storms Overnight; Nicer Sunday

A broken line of storms is draped from about Huntsville to Columbus, Mississippi at this hour, and slowly moving southeast. However, the environment isn’t very supportive of these storms going forward tonight, and they will likely become much more isolated over the next couple of hours. Areas south of I-20 are less likely to see rain. Sunday will be nice, with temperatures topping out in the upper 80s to near 90. A couple of isolated storms are possible in the afternoon and evening south of I-20. Timing on these storms will be between 2-10pm.

We warm up a tad for your workweek this week, and most should stay dry, but a few widely scattered afternoon storms will remain possible all week.

Join us live on WVUA23 weekdays at 5, 6 and 10:00 P.M. and weekends at 10PM for the very latest on your news, weather and sports.
