Good Sunday evening! This Sunday turned out to be a great end to the weekend with lots of sunshine, warm temperatures, and a breeze to help keep the warm temperatures feeling a little cooler. Tonight, temperatures will drop into the mid 50’s for those in west Alabama, but those further north or south will see temperatures cooler or warmer respectively. Tomorrow sky conditions will remain the same with lots of sunshine, but temperatures will be even warmer with west Alabama being close to the 90° mark, while areas in southern central Alabama will break into the 90’s.
The middle of next work week will continue to remain dry with temperatures steadily rise into the lower 90’s, so be ready for a hot work week ahead. As the work week progresses, winds will begin shifting to a southerly flow bringing in warmer and moister Gulf air. That will allow for a very isolated storm to develop on Wednesday; Over all, the beginning of this coming work week will remain dry.
By mid and late next work week, temperatures will continue to remain very warm, but more moisture will be available to allow for isolated showers and storms to develop in the afternoons. By this point in the week, conditions will feel very humid, on top of the warm temperatures.
Next weekend looks to be slightly cooler as additional clouds develop in the afternoons. Despite that slight cool down, conditions will still be very humid. Most should remain dry though, and only a few will catch an isolated shower or storm.
