Happy Friday evening! Today has remained very dreary after the first batch of showers and storms this morning. All the clouds kept temperatures at a cool 75° here in Tuscaloosa, and similarly across central Alabama. Right now on radar, a second, thinner batch of showers and storms are making their way into the state. This second batch will push through during the early evening hours tonight. The good news is, after this batch passes, better weather is on the way! Tonight will remain mostly cloudy after the rain until the early morning hours as temperatures drop into the lower 60’s across the state.
Tomorrow starts the weekend off with clearing skies early Saturday morning, before conditions become mostly clear for the remainder of the day. The return of sunshine means temperatures will be warmer in the low 80’s. Sunday the clear weather continues as temperatures continue to climb gradually over the coming days.
Next work week will remain mostly dry starting off. Monday will continue to remain mostly clear before some patchy clouds develop Tuesday and Wednesday as the opportunity of a very isolated shower or storm arrives in the afternoon. Meanwhile, temperatures will be getting very toasty in the upper 80’s.
Late next work week temperatures will continue to be on the rise as the opportunity for scattered and isolated showers and storms increases in the afternoon; It’s clear that things are stating to look and feel a lot more like summer by the end of next work week.
