Good Sunday Evening! The weather across central Alabama was amazing today with temperatures only climbing into the mid 70’s and little, to no cloud cover to speak of. The light breeze throughout the day was a nice addition. Unfortunately, the weather quickly changes going into this coming work week. Tonight, skies continue to remain mostly clear as temperatures drop into the low 50’s, meaning another chilly evening. Monday morning clouds quickly start rolling in and continue to build throughout the day. The added cloud cover should help keep temperatures a little cooler. Despite all the clouds, things should remain dry.
Tuesday, the cold front that passed yesterday transitions into a warm front and begins shifting back to the north, bringing with it the opportunity for some isolated showers and storms. Wednesday the warm front continues to track northward bringing greater chances of storms across central Alabama; then, after Wednesday, the warm front finishes passing and the opportunity for showers and storms diminishes some for Thursday. Cloud cover will still be fairly persistent though.
Friday a new frontal line arrives from the west that brings showers and storms throughout the day Friday and Saturday. Finally by Sunday conditions start to clear out and some peeks of sunshine start to break out by Sunday evening, bringing and end to the soggy week ahead.
