Nice Weather to Finish Off the Week…Saturday Night Update 8:15

Today was a very pleasant day to get out and enjoy the weekend with lots of sunshine and cool temperatures. Don’t be sad if you missed it though, tomorrow and the beginning of next week look to be just as nice! Tonight temperatures will drop into the lower 40’s so it will be a little chilly if you head out, so make sure to grab a light jacket. Tomorrow temperatures will be a little warmer than today and skies will be clear to help make for an awesome end to the weekend.

Next work week will start of nice with lots of sunshine continuing to stick around. Temperatures will continue to be one the rise for Monday, before a weak front comes through Monday night to help cool temperatures back down for Tuesday. Since this will be such a weak front, clouds will increase late Monday as it arrives, but no rain should accompany them. The clouds move out early Tuesday and temperatures cool off slightly, despite the ample amount of sun for the day.

The nice weather comes to an end Wednesday when we see the next opportunity of rain arrive for central Alabama. Starting Wednesday clouds will be on the increase as a cold front arrives, bringing with it showers and storms later Wednesday afternoon, leading into Wednesday night. Eyes will be kept on this system as week get into the beginning of this work week as to whether this event will provide any severe weather for central Alabama or not. For now, the verdict will be no severe weather, but do stay updated in case this event changes. Rain last throughout the night, into early Thursday. After the rain moves out, clouds will continue to hang around for some of the day Thursday, before clearing starts to take place later that day. By that Friday, sunshine fully returns along with pleasant temperatures in the 70’s.

Next weekend looks to be very similar to this past weekend. Temperatures will be in the mid 70’s with plenty of sunshine, so it will be a great opportunity to get outdoors!
