Sunshine Returns Briefly, Rain Midweek… Sunday Forecast Update — 8:15 pm

Happy Easter! The rain and clouds made for a dreary start this morning, but the clouds broke late afternoon, just before sunset. A few more showers will move through tonight as the cold front sweeps through.

The clouds will linger into the first half of the day on Monday, before sunshine returns Monday afternoon. Temperatures will reach the upper 60’s and lower 70’s. The sunshine continues into Tuesday with warmer air bringing us back into the mid 70’s. The mild and sunny weather will be short-lived as clouds return Wednesday morning.

Showers and thunderstorms will return late Wednesday afternoon and evening and stick around through the rest of the week. Currently, the threat for severe weather appears minimal, but this could change rapidly so stay tuned. Temperatures will remain in the mid 70’s Wednesday and Thursday before cooling into the weekend. Rain showers continue for us on Friday but will taper off toward sunset. Temperatures will cool into the upper 40’s Friday night and we will likely stay in the 60’s for high temperatures next weekend despite seeing lots of sunshine.
