7:15PM Tuesday Radar Update… Severe Risk Has Ended For I-20… #alwx @wvua23

AT 7:15pm, the risk of severe weather has ended for I-20. Any severe weather issues will be confined to areas closer to Montgomery and Auburn over the next few hours, ending there by 9pm. While there is a severe thunderstorm watch for most of central Alabama until 1am, the watch will be allowed to expire early, as the risk ends quickly from northwest to southeast.

We’ve had lots of damage reports in the McCalla, Bessemer, and Helena area. So far, 4 injuries have been also reported in west Jefferson County.
