At 6pm this evening, rain is quickly ending from west to east across the state. By 10pm tonight, all of central and east Alabama should be rain-free. Rain amounts so far across the state range from 1 to 3″, and a few isolated flooding issues have been reported, especially in northwest Alabama. Temperatures will drop into the lower 40s overnight tonight, with upper 30s to the north of I-20.

Skies will quickly become sunny on Tuesday, with temperatures warming into the lower to middle 60s. Temperatures will remain cool at night through Wednesday night, with most areas dipping into the 30s. Highs will reach the lower 60s on Wednesday.

A nice warming trend will take over as we move into the end of the week and to start the weekend. Highs will reach the upper 60s on Thursday, with low 70s on Friday and Saturday.
