Good Friday afternoon! It has turned out to be a beautiful early February day, with lots of sunshine and seasonal temperatures. Expect a cold night tonight, with a low in the upper 20s. A light to moderate freeze and frost is expected overnight.

The weekend is looking nice, but you will notice clouds at times on Saturday. I don’t expect it to be a cloudy day, but a mix of sun and clouds can be expected. Highs will approach the middle 50s on Saturday, with a low near 32 Saturday night. The weak upper level disturbance responsible for a some passing clouds will move east of the state on Sunday, leaving us with lots of sunshine. Highs will reach the upper 50s on Sunday.

A cold front will move through the state on Monday. Expect mostly cloudy skies on Monday, with a small chance of a few sprinkles. Highs will reach the upper 40s, then fall into the upper 20s Monday night. Highs will only top out in the upper 30s to near 40 on Tuesday, with a partly sunny sky. Temperatures have trended warmer by the middle and end of next week, so the cold shot won’t last very long.
