At 4pm, we are closely watching storms in Mississippi that could produce severe weather in West Alabama as these storms move north and east. Between now and 9pm, there is a threat for isolated severe storms moving northeast.

After 9pm, a line of strong to severe storms will move east along a cold front that is currently in Mississippi. These storms will move through overnight tonight. We have a tornado watch in place through 10 pm CST for West Central Alabama. For now, storms in Central Alabama are not severe, but we will watch these storms to our west.

We will be updating online and on WVUA 23 throughout the evening. Stay updated!
