9pm Severe Weather Update… Tuesday Update #alwx @wvua23

Warnings_1060 (9).JPG

Good Tuesday evening! At 9pm, lots of rain and storms continue across the state. We will maintain the risk of an isolated tornado or two into the overnight hours. We’ve still got several hours to go before the risk ends in our area. We’re calling for a chance of strong to severe storms in west Alabama through 3am before coming to an end, then east Alabama between 11pm and 5am. Flash flooding is also a risk in some areas. If you come across a flooded road, turn around!

Keep in mind, the risk of severe weather for the rest of tonight is rather low, but it’s not a zero risk. I want you to remain alert through the overnight hours. The risk will gradually end from west to east during the late night hours.

Join us live on WVUA23 weekdays at 5, 6 and 10:00 P.M. and weekends at 10PM for the very latest on your news, weather and sports.
