Sunshine and Warmer Temps… Saturday Forecast Update — 7:50pm

Good Saturday Evening!  Clear skies today allowed for temperatures to get into the low 40s.  However, northerly winds kept the wind chill values 5 to 10 degrees colder than the actual air temperature, making it feel a unpleasant! For tonight, skies will remain clear, allowing temperatures to drop back below freezing, as lows will be in the low to mid 20s to start your Sunday morning.  As for Sunday, temperatures will get back into the lower 50s under a mostly sunny sky!

As we get into the beginning of the work week, another system moving across the Mid West and Great Lakes region, will drag a cold front into the area on Tuesday, bringing back those rain chances.  No severe weather is expected with this system.  Temperatures will be warming up ahead of the front as highs are expected to be in the upper 50s on Monday and low to mid 50s on Tuesday.  Lows will be in the mid to upper 40s on Tuesday morning due to the cloud cover and rain.  Some lingering showers will still be possible into the afternoon on Wednesday, but the coverage will be decreasing behind the cold front.

After Wednesday, a warming trend will be in place as upper level ridging builds in from the west, bumping those temperatures into the upper 50s on Friday, and low to mid 60s on Saturday!  Skies will remain mostly sunny for the weekend!
