THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR…NORTHEASTERN JEFFERSON COUNTY IN ALABAMA…WESTERN ST. CLAIR COUNTY IN ALABAMA…

* UNTIL 145 AM CDT

* AT 1244 AM CDT…THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL…AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH.  THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM PINSON TO BALD ROCK…AND MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE…PELL CITY…TRUSSVILLE…LEEDS…MOODY…CENTER POINT…ALTON…BARBER MOTORSPORTS PARK AND COOSA ISLAND.

THIS INCLUDES…INTERSTATE 459 EXIT NUMBERS 27 THROUGH 33…INTERSTATE 20 EXIT NUMBERS 133 THROUGH 158…INTERSTATE 59 EXIT NUMBERS 134 THROUGH 156…
