Where Snow Flurries Will and Won’t Fall…Thursday Update 3:40 PM

Here’s a look at Hometeam Interactive Radar this afternoon. Light snow and flurries are falling across our northern Counties this afternoon and evening. The white line is where I expect the southern edge of the flurries and light snow. Snow is coming down heavy enough to cause a dusting across parts of northwest Alabama, but that is for areas north of Hamilton and Haleyville.

If you live south of Vernon, Fayette, Jasper and Ashville, expect conditions to remain dry through tonight. Even where flurries and light snow is falling now, this activity will end from west to east by midnight. Skies will become clear late tonight and we’ll enjoy lots of sun on Friday and Saturday. Temperatures will stay in the 40s all day on Friday, but we should return into the lower 50s on Saturday. More details to come this afternoon…
