Monday Afternoon Weather: August 23, 3:05pm

Drier air is moving into West Alabama this afternoon, giving us an opportunity for overnight low temperatures in the 60s for the first time since early July. We’re looking for clear skies and temperatures this evening the 65 – 69 degree range by Tuesday morning. High pressure will remain in place this week, keeping our rain chances extremely low. We will see a healthy amount of sunshine each day this week with afternoon highs in the middle 90s.

Models are forecasting another shot of drier air to arrive Thursday. We may see a few clouds with this new system. We may even see temps fall into the lower 60s by Friday morning…and afternoon highs in the lower 90s.

Not much in the way of rainfall all this week and into the upcoming weekend as well.
