Saturday Update

It’s been a mostly cloudy and cool day today in West Alabama.  We only got to 56 degrees Saturday afternoon in Tuscaloosa, 13 degrees below our average for this date.  Saturday night, it will be chilly, but seasonable, with mostly cloudy skies and a low around 43.

Sunday looks to be much like Saturday; cool with mostly cloudy skies and a slight chance for a shower or two.  Chance of rain is minimal Sunday, but have an umbrella handy, just in case!

For the start of the week, Monday and Tuesday will be cool with temperatures right around 60 degrees, but we’ll see more sunshine!

Wednesday, St. Patrick’s Day, clouds will increase and there’s a slight chance for showers. The afternoon high will be in the lower 60s.

Thursday, a few showers early, then partly cloudy skies. I’m expecting a high of 65.

Friday looks to be the best day of the next seven; mostly sunny and warm with a high of 68. (Hopefully this holds!)

Our next chance for storms looks to be late in the day Saturday as a vigorous cold front approaches from the west.

The Alabama Gulf Coast forecast for the next few days is cool, breezy and mostly sunny through Wednesday, then there’s a chance for showers Wednesday night.
