Sunday Evening Weather Update; Posted at 10 p.m.

A good Sunday to you! The weather this weekend was very nice, with low humidity values, but moisture will be increasing over the next day or so. We’ll begin to notice a change in the humidity by tomorrow. Temperatures will be quiet warm as well, with highs in the lower 90s. With muggy conditions in-place, it will feel hotter, with the heat index becoming a factor. A south wind will also develop tomorrow, which will allow for the moisture to increase in west Alabama.

The weather over the next 7 days will be very consistent. Humidity will become the big story, with highs in the lower 90s. There is a small chance of isolated showers and storms beginning on Wednesday and lasting through next weekend. A ridge of high pressure aloft will keep a lid on things, which will keep any organized storms from developing. This will also block any storm-systems from moving our way.
