ISOLATED TORNADOES AND DAMAGING WIND GUST ARE POSSIBLE NORTHWEST OF
A LINE FROM LINDEN…TO HOOVER…TO GADSDEN THROUGH 5 AM. SOUTHEAST
OF THIS LINE…A FEW WIND GUST UP TO 45 MPH ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH 6
AM.

A COLD FRONT WILL ENTER NORTHWEST ALABAMA JUST AFTER MIDNIGHT. THE
STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS…SOME WITH ISOLATED TORNADOES…WILL
AFFECT AREAS NORTHWEST THROUGH 2 AM…INCLUDING AREAS NEAR
HAMILTON…CARROLLTON…FAYETTE…AND JASPER. THE LINE OF STORMS WILL
MOVE TO NEAR THE INTERSTATE 20 59 CORRIDOR BY 5 AM…AFFECTING
AREAS FROM LINDEN TO TUSCALOOSA TO BIRMINGHAM…TO GADSDEN.

AS THE UPPER LEVEL SUPPORT PULLS NORTHWARD AND AWAY FROM ALABAMA…
THE STORMS WILL EXHIBIT A WEAKENING TREND BETWEEN 3 AND 5 AM.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

A FEW LINGERING STRONG STORMS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE EARLY FRIDAY MORNING
AS THE COLD FRONT EXITS SOUTHEASTERN PORTIONS OF THE STATE…
SOUTHEAST OF INTERSTATE 59 BEFORE 10 AM.  LOCALIZED HEAVY RAINFALL
AND GUSTY WINDS WILL BE THE MAIN THREATS.

STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ALONG AND AHEAD OF
