Friday Afternoon Forecast Discussion Update

The weather has been beautiful today, with high temperatures in the 70s. You can expect clear skies for tonight, with lows dropping into the low 50s. A fast moving disturbance will drop in from the northwest tomorrow and this will bring an increase in clouds, with a stray afternoon shower or thunderstorm possible. Most locations will stay dry, with temperatures warming into the 70s. An evening shower or storm may linger tomorrow night, with gradual clearing. Sunday and Monday will be dry days, with temperatures warming into the lower 80s. It looks like highs will be reaching the middle 80s by Tuesday and Wednesday, with a mixture of clouds and sun.

I want to remind you that we are looking for kids to be on our live show as guests weather anchors. We’re looking for a student between 6-12 years of age. Send us your name, phone number, and tell us why you like the weather. Send your entry to WVUA-TV, Box 870172, Tuscaloosa, AL 35487-0172. You can also email the entry to wwyatt@wvua7.com.

Be sure to tune in tonight for the exclusive fish and game forecast. Also, we will be debuting our new segment called, “Ask the Weatherman?” Be on the lookout for our crews in West Alabama. Maybe you will be on our show asking your question soon!
