Nice Weather Today…Look Back At Rain Totals… Monday Morning Update 11am

Good Monday morning! We are rain free this morning, and there is no rain in the forecast through Wednesday morning. The blue color on radar is from ground clutter… The weather will remain nice today and on Tuesday. Look for sunny skies and highs in the middle to upper 70s. We could reach the low 80s on Wednesday. Look for pretty chilly temperatures tonight, as lows fall into the 40s.

Much of the area dealt with rain yesterday and lastnight. We even had one tornado warning for Lamar County. There were no reports of damage with that storm. Rain totals were nice across parts of west and central Alabama, but not everyone got a good soaking rain. Here’s a few reports from weather watchers across the area.

I picked up 1.10″ at my house in Northport

Ronald Hughes reports: 1.33″ in Coker

Michael Stonebroke reports: 0.84″ in Sylacauga

Debbi Boone reports: 0.50″ near Shelton in Taylorville

Tuscaloosa Airport: 1.08″

Birmingham Airport: 0.71″
