Nice Weekend Continues! Sunny and Mild Next Week… Sunday Forecast Update 1:20pm
September 9, 2012 Leave a comment
Good Sunday afternoon! The weather has turned out very nice across Alabama, thanks to the cool, northwest flow. Temperatures started off the day in the middle 50s across much of west and central Alabama, with a warm-up into the low to middle 80s as of 1pm. With very dry air in place, humidity is not a factor today, and won’t be for the 1st half of next week. The surface cold front is well south of our area; in-fact, it’s located over the central Gulf of Mexico.
Skies will remain sunny today and clear tonight. Look for temperatures to fall into the middle 50s in western and central Alabama tonight. The fall-like weather will continue through Tuesday, with a deep blue sky. Highs will warm into the middle or upper 80s for much of next week; Monday – Thursday. Overnight lows will fall to around 60 Monday night, then warm into the lower or middle 60s each night for the rest of the week. So far, there are no signs of rain through Friday. Enjoy the rest of the weekend! Look for mostly sunny skies for the week as well.
