New Tropical Low… One To Watch Close! – Sunday Update 12pm
August 19, 2012 Leave a comment
Good Sunday midday to you! We’re watching a new area of low pressure track across the Atlantic. This system really needs to be watched because of the forecast track and forecast data. Some data tracks this low to the west across the Caribbean, then northwest into the Gulf of Mexico. The low is very large and most data develops it into a tropical storm within the next 36 hours. This feature has a high chance of becoming a tropical storm in the next day or two. While we have time to watch it, you’ll need to keep an eye on forecast updates. There is a chance we could be looking at a Gulf Hurricane in 6 to 8 days.
We will continue to update you on the latest as this storm develops.
