Scattered Storms Moving South…Tuesday Update 2:45pm

After some flash flooding in Tuscaloosa around 1pm, the storm has moved well to the south of town. Strong storms are moving near Eutaw and Greensboro at this 2pm hour, and will slide south of HWY 80 between 3 and 4pm. Another batch of strong storms is moving south out of Walker and Fayette County. These storms will likely weaken as they move into rain cooled air over Tuscaloosa. All storms will die out after sunset this evening.

If you get under one of these storms, expect heavy rain and intense lightning. They are not severe and are not expected to become severe. Not everyone will see rain today, but the risk of these scattered storms will continue for much of the week.
