Much drier air aloft has worked into the area with the exception of a patch of richer low/mid layer moisture across northeast Alabama which is expected to slowly sag southward tonight and into tomorrow. This area of moisture should favor convective development over the eastern half of the area on Monday. Rain chances will gradually increase through mid week as a weak mid level trough develops over the southeast states. It is possible that a weak front may develop to our north by Friday and the weekend as height falls across the northeast states combine with the weakness over our region. Decent rain chances should continue during this time frame as well. Our temperatures each afternoon will top out in the mid to low 90s with a good bit of sunshine each day.
