West Alabama Forecast: Thursday, Sept. 23

West Alabama Weather: Fall officially begins at 10:09pm tonight, but temperature-wise, we’re still a few days away from any fall-like temperatures. For Thursday, look for more sunny skies and very warm afternoon temperatures with highs back in the middle 90′s. The chance of rain tomorrow afternoon is about 1 in 10. Weather changes should begin to take shape this weekend. A frontal boundary will attempt to clear West Alabama late Saturday into Sunday. Right now it appears this front will stall over North Alabama, bringing pretty good rain chances to the area later in the day Saturday through Monday. Early next week, an upper low is forecast to drop down and bring another shot of rain to West Alabama Monday and Tuesday…with the possibility of rain chances staying pretty good through Thursday if the system fails to move eastward…which is a possibility. We will keep you posted on the weather changes over the next few days.
