I hope you are having a great Sunday! Our weather is about to undergo a major warming trend over the next few days. Starting tomorrow, our afternoon highs will really take off into the 40s and eventually the 50s later in the week.
Tonight will remain very cold, with a low in the middle teens. Once the sun comes out tomorrow morning, we’ll deal with warming temperatures throughout the day. Highs will top out in the middle to upper 40s. A disturbance in the jetstream moves in Monday night and Tuesday morning. Since we have limited moisture to work with, don’t expect anything out of it. We may see a few more clouds Tuesday morning; sun will be out in full force Tuesday afternoon, with a high in the middle 40s. As a ridge moves in on Wednesday and Thursday, we’ll see a big change to warmer weather, as highs reach the middle and upper 50s. Things remain calm through Thursday and Friday morning, but an area of low pressure will rapidly develop in the northern gulf and spread rain in here Friday night.
So far, all data suggest that it will be warm enough for all rain; we’ll keep an eye on it incase things change. Expect a good chance of rain and windy conditions over the weekend. Highs will remain in the middle 50s. Be sure to join us tonight at 10PM of the latest on your forecast.
Have a great day!
