Our Wednesday has been rather cool, with lots of clouds overhead. At this time a band of light showers is marching across West Alabama. The precipitation is on the light side and we will continue see mainly light and spotty rain through tonight. Lows tonight will be in the 50s. The moist flow over the region will continue to spread lots of clouds our way tomorrow and this will bring us a few passing showers. Unfortunately, the data isn’t looking as impressive on the rain totals for tomorrow.
Friday will be another cloudy day, with patchy areas of rain, especially southeast of Tuscaloosa. We will have highs rebounding into the low 70s. There may be a thunderstorm in the mix Friday night, with a better chance of rain. This will be in response to the passage of a sharp cold front. Clouds will linger early Saturday, with highs struggling to reach the middle 50s. We will also have a cold north wind adding to the chill on Saturday. Sunday and Monday will also be chilly days, but it won’t be quite as breezy. Plus, we will have bright skies to help with the cooler weather. Temperatures will slowly rebound through the start of next week and by next Wednesday we will be nearing the 70 degree mark for highs. Have a great evening!
