As you know, fall has arrived. It is a beautiful time of the year, where we are in a transition between summer and winter. You can see some beautiful fall colors in areas of northeast Alabama. But at-least locally, you don’t have to drive that far to see some fall colors. I was driving on hwy 69, just south of Shelton State Community College, when I enjoyed a perfect autumn scene. There sure is nothing like getting outdoors on a cool fall day. Furthermore, there is nothing like the scenic beauty fall brings. If you’re out and about over the coming days, take a ride south on highway 69 and enjoy the autumn scenery.
